Great for introducing kids to instruments. It's not the cheap sounding type that you buy for 1-2 year olds. The notes are clear and the carrying case is great. My kids really like it.

This is a great musical instrument for the money. We got it for our 16 year old who's a mallet player in High School (and he marching in the Tournament Of Roses). It was intended to be a "gag" gift, because he wants a professional marimba (so we decided to spend $15 instead of $5000). He has fun with it, says it sounds great, and is tuned well enough (although not perfect). This is a sturdy, great sounding, quality instrument. Perhaps it should not be purchased for the very young, since the keys may have sharp, metal edges.

This Glockenspiel is by far the greatest! I recommend this product for all the non-musical players and the musical players. My children love it and I do too.

Although it is true that I am not a learned musician, I still love music and I love to "play" around on different instruments. I am not an expert on any of them, but can play a couple of songs on each fairly well.
This bell set is wonderful!! Beautifully made and self contained in a plastic case. I bought it for myself (it takes up less room than a keyboard or piano) - but have also let my nieces try it. It has stood up to the durability test and we all love it! :-)
