I am seven years old, (almost 8), and I really like Highlights because I really enjoy the crafts in each issue. I also like the cover page that tells all about what's inside the magazine. I think most kids would really enjoy this magazine.

Probably too old for my six year old on his own but packed full of great articles and pictures.

My husband and I have three cats, no kids. However, I'm a writer and this magazine is wonderful. I love using it as a guide to find out what is cool and what is not cool when it comes to kids.
And yes, I will confess, I love the rebus stories and I do all of the puzzles! This is a neat gift to give as well.
Rating: - absolutely the best magazine for young children
My kids (5 % 6) love Highlights. It's a real treat for them when the new issue shows up. They can read much of the magazine themselves but they still beg me over and over again to read them the stories. They race through the hidden pictures and love the brain teasers.

I enjoyed Highlights magazine when I was a youngster and now I subscribe for all of my nieces and nephews. They all love to read and enjoy a good challenge. This magazine covers a lot of different activities for children so there is always something for everybody. Loved it then and still do!
