Little to nothing has been documented, save for a few non-linear stories told energetically by Big Jack Allen, or another B-Boy affiliate, Freddy Fresh. The label's releases alone can be perplexing. For every "Criminal Minded" there is a "Hardcore X-Mas." For every Levi 167 "Something Fresh To Swing To" there is a Frozen Explosion "Iwo Jima." Some may say that all the label had was the genius of Boogie Down Productions but those people are dummies. B-Boy had a string of releases that may have gone unnoticed by the mass Hip Hop crowd, but were revered by fans who were seeking out the gritty New York drum sound and the brilliantly rough mix that made cult favorites like Busy Boys' "Classical" and The Brothers "You Can't Win" highly sought out releases to this day. Here at Traffic Entertainment Group's offices we have been tediously going through the B-Boy master reels to pull together a collection of rarities and alternates for your listening pleasure.
