Works fine, the only difference is a longer startup time (initial water filling) as other users mentioned, but maybe it's subjective.

I usually order the Maytag brand replacement but tried the Brita this time. Filter fit with no problems and was a little cheaper. Can't beat that !

The water is well filtered and fresh, but the Brita doesn't fit as solidly as the Maytag filter it supposedly replaces. I will pay a few $ more for the Maytag filter next time, if only to keep from drooling ... Read More
