I had expected these to be small stud earrings. They are about 1/2 inch in size and cover almost my entire earlobe. My teenagers told me they look like "old lady" earrings.

for some reason I thought these would only be about 3/8 in. across - they are closer to 5/8 in.! My wife really likes them though, and that's what matters...
